I don’t know what to do.

I don’t know what to do. I’ve started this many times but it just seems so pointless. There are many blogs out there that have something to say and perhaps they feel as I do that ‘we’ need to be doing something, I know I do.

I don’t know if this specific problem is addressed or not but for the few, if any that read this, here it is. It is but a fraction of what I know to be true and that is only a fraction of what is going on; reason enough to be concerned. Senator Bill Frist, M.D. slipped a bill through congress that stops any law suits against pharmaceutical companies. Like they really needed it.

Ah! Where to begin? The pharmaceutical industry spent 3 billion dollars last year convincing Americans they are sick and need to buy their product and/or ask their doctor to prescribe it despite the fact that many do little or nothing and often they are just a slight reconfiguration of an older products sold at a new higher price. And it works. They have the doctors (who graduate from pharma dominated schools)push their drugs with sweetheart deals. They (the pharmaceutical companies) have one of the largest lobbies in congress so be assured nothing is going against them there. They spend heavily on advertisement you will never hear the media say anything bad about them or their products, and news items going against the pharmaceutical companies are treated with kid gloves.

Then, the FDA, who is supposed to be the part of the government on our side is packed with people catering to the pharmaceuticals. Virtually all the heads of FDA has left for very high paying jobs in the drug industry. The FDA has their own courts in their own building so if you have a problem with a drug company it is like holding court in the enemy camp with the enemy as your judge and jurors.

The government is in this so blatantly they have decided to hide their corruption in plain sight. e.g. The drug bill for the elderly has one of its main components stop people from going to Canada to get cheaper drugs. Hello! A drug manufactured in the US is cheaper to buy in Canada? You bet they are, and why? The drug companies make no attempt to hide the disparity in prices (hidden in plain sight), they argue that they need the “excess” profits to create new drugs. Is that right? They spend 3 billion dollars on advertisement and say they want the money for research? 3 billion dollars would have paid for a lot of research. It is politics, if they say it enough, you will believe it.

They have the politicians, bought and paid for, now they are just helping them stay in power by keeping the focus on the drug companies and drumming into your head that they ‘deserve’ to screw people in the US. The drug industry has lobbied hard to get rid of all ‘natural’ substances that cure anything, they don’t make any money off of that. The FDA has issued what are essentially ‘laws’ that if it cures anything, the FDA has jurisdiction over it. Thus, if you print on a vitamin C bottle that it may help with the prevention of colds the FDA will demand millions of dollars of testing just to prove it. In the meantime they often exempt large manufacturers of any external testing taking instead whatever ‘they’ say they did to test the product internally. Well if it is some little guy trying to sell an inexpensive product that may help remedy something and he says so, it comes under the FDA and they make you prove that it will do whatever it is that it is supposed to do and in their eyes. You can bet you don’t have a chance. The little guy just doesn’t have a chance. I, personally, used to buy some herbs that helped with my allergies. There is no question, they helped. But it said “Allergy” on the bottle and the FDA made them quit marketing the product.

It is not Just the Pharmaceutical Companies, not by a long shot. It was found that putting ground-up tires in asphalt not only substantially increased the life of the pavement, it was a use for the millions of old tires we have around the USA. A win win situation if you ask me. So what happened to that? The asphalt industry lobbied congress. They argued they would be losing so many jobs if we put out a better product. Since when do you lose money for putting out a better product? I'll bet you never heard that one on the media.

Speaking of the media, that 3 billion dollars the pharmaceutical industry spends, is spent on the media. Do you really think the media is going to say something bad about a company that pays them 3 billion dollars a year? They (the media) don’t have a problem with telling Osama Bin Laden that we are listening in on his phone calls but do you think they will tell us the pharmaceutical industry is making us sick and bilking us out of billions? Not a chance.

Did you know that you cannot start a farm growing peanuts and sell them in the US? Can't, it is the law. If you already are, you’re protected. Ex-president Jimmy Carter can sell his peanuts in the US, he’s protected. Why should you care? Because it is corruption, the price of peanuts is more than twice what it should be to the benefit of a few. A similar but much more complicated thing goes on with sugar. Importation of sugar into the US is restricted. Essentially only one group is allowed to.. That same group that gives lots and lots of money to both political parties every year. Yes, and the price of sugar in the US is almost twice what it should be. The candy manufacture of Life Savers moved to Canada and it wasn't because sugar cane grew better up there. The cost of sugar in the US drove them out.

So, who is paying for the pharmaceutical profits, the asphalt industry, the sugar industry, the, the, the, the, the? Why you are, we are. And the reason is the fat cats we call politicians, the people we elect to protect us. The standard of living would be twice what it is now for every American if it weren’t for congress spending all of its time figuring out how to stay elected in the most lucrative of jobs in the world. They keep that job by Bull Shitting US citizens and they do that with the help of the media, big business and lots of money.

The Daily Corruption of Congress

Our nation started out with people trying to get out from under tyranny and oppression. The tyranny being the inequitable rule of monarchies where oppression of the many for the benefit of the few was the ‘norm.’ Most people like to get ahead, to make a better life for themselves and family. Many do this through hard work, intelligence, education, maybe by heritage, and a few do it by taking advantage of other people. It is this group whom I would to speak about.

The farmer is an excellent example of how this started. As land was farmed, it was found that the nutrients in soil were not limitless, e.g. nitrogen, and various things were found to enrich the soil. Leaving it fallow alternate years, rotating crops, putting things back into the soil, e.g., compost etc. It was also found that certain plants usually leguminous actually helped the soil by fixing nitrogen back into the soil. Peanuts are a good example of this. However, you can only sell so many peanuts for eating. Than along came John Washington Carver who found more than one hundred uses for the peanut making it profitable as well as soil enhancing to grow. The important point here is the peanut was eatable in the first place and never required “cleansing” toxins out of it.

But I want to talk about another nitrogen fixing leguminous plant of a more recent evolution. Soybeans are an excellent plant to fix nitrogen into the soil, much easier to grow and much more climate tolerant than peanuts. Farmers grew it for enriching the soil but its usefulness was very limited. It was not even fit for animal feed and very little could be made from it, tofu and soy sauce but that is only after the efforts of some very energetic bacteria however the end product was as much soybean as bauxite is a 747 Jet. It could also be made into linoleum, but even with that, the market for Soy was limited.

Than came modern day fertilizers and 'fixing' nitrogen into the soil was no longer the problem.  So what do you do with a billion dollar investment in a plant nobody can eat? Many farms belong to multi billion dollar companies and they seemed to be stuck with a product they couldn’t do anything with.

The solution, it turns out; was two fold, tell people it eatable and market it as a health food. The soybean has some wonderful qualities, the problem is it is full of contaminants, highest levels of phatic acid to be found, high amounts of enzyme inhibitors, can cause estrogen blood levels to raise as much as twenty two hundred per cent, is not a complete protein, not a natural food and today is among the most processed of commercial foods and most US soybeans are genetically modified. The solution was to make it saleable. And sell they do.

It turns out that hydrogenated soy oil is an excellent way to get rid of 'their' garbage. The word "hydrogenation" refers to the process that changes liquid vegetable oils into more solid forms, forms that can be easily spread with a knife, like margarine. In addition, the process of hydrogenation increases the shelf-life of the oil.

Unfortunately, hydrogenating soy oil is like making bombs spread radioactively, it takes something already very bad and makes it much worse. Now listen to this, hydrogenated oil can be found in 60% of the food you eat. Hydrogenated oils are also found in products like breads, donuts, peanut butter, frozen meals, potato chips, most fast foods and yes, spreads. So wouldn’t you think this would be bad for you, make you sick, cause any number of maladies? It does. Who ‘benefits’ by you getting sick? The drug industry do, many of the same ones that market the soy. They get money from you, hospitals and the government, to treat and find ‘cures’ for the explosion of the many new maladies that are affecting people. It is like you were on a leaking ship and everyone tried to find a way to get rid of the water but nobody is looking for the leak.

Hydrogenated Oil By Dr. Bruce Fife, a certified nutritionist and naturopathic physician. We have all heard about the dangers of artificial food additives. I want to talk about one of the most common food additives in our diet—partially hydrogenated vegetable oil. Some fats in our diet are good and healthy, others are not so good. Of all the fats in our diet, hydrogenated vegetable oils are one the very worst. The reason they’re so bad is because they contain toxic trans fatty acids. Trans fatty acids are fat molecules that have been chemically altered. These deformed fatty acids wreck havoc in our bodies. Recent research has shown that they contribute to cancer, heart disease, diabetes, MS, and many other health problems. They are far more dangerous than any other fat known. A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition it reported that trans fatty acids cause at least 30,000 premature deaths in the United States each year. Because of these dangers, many health organizations have pressured the FDA to enact a regulation requiring food manufactures to include the amount of trans fatty acids on package labels. Before taking this step, however, the FDA waited three years for the Institute of Medicine to study the issue. After a detailed review of all the medical research on trans fatty acids, the Institute of Medicine recently released their findings. They announced that no level of trans fat is safe to consume, (something contained within all hydrogenated oil)! This announcement came as a surprise because usually the Institute of Medicine recommends what they consider to be a safe limit of consumption for toxic food additives. In this case, however, they stated that no level is safe. That means we should avoid trans fatty acids completely.

Where do you find trans fatty acids? Trans fatty acids are found in all hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, including margarine and shortening. Partially hydrogenated
    soybean oil
is our most common source of trans fatty acids. Almost every packaged, convenience food in the grocery store contains one or more of these sources of trans fats. Some common food sources for trans fatty acids include bread, cookies, crackers, chips, pies, french fries, pizzas, peanut butter, cake frosting, candy, and ice cream. Read package labels, if it lists partially hydrogenated oil, don’t buy it!

From “A Moment in Science” www.amos.indiana.edu The problem with hydrogenated oil is twofold. One, hydrogenated oil contains a lot of saturated fat. In addition though, it also contains what are called trans fatty acids. And the problem with these is that like saturated fat, they raise our levels of the bad cholesterol, but to make matters worse, they can also reduce our levels of the good cholesterol. So we are having drastic increases in incidences of Neoplasms (Cancer),Digestive System Diseases, Respiratory Tract Diseases, Nervous System Diseases, Male and Female Diseases, Pregnancy Complications and the list goes on. It may even include things like homosexuality, there are certainly lots of things pointing to that. The trick here is these big companies are also big contributors, just in case you were wondering why noting was ever done about it. e.g. Since 1987, the EPA and Congress both showed that they understood which side their bread was buttered on, in three separate acts: - In 1987, immediately prior to RoundUp’s debut, without any study or proof whatsoever, the EPA arbitrarily raised the toxicity limits of RoundUp from 6 parts per million to 20 parts per million, simply because Monsanto requested it! Do not get confused with products like Tofu, Miso and Soy Sauce. These are the end products of some very energetic bacteria and no longer resemble the original product. For industry to make soy eatable it is highly processed being heated to over 400° 6 times during processing. If there was any good in it, it is surely gone after processing. Don’t forget it has 10 times the aluminum in it homogenized milk does. Researchers have known for years that phytic acid blocks mineral absorption. (Keen) This is especially bad news for infants, because soy chelates all zinc from the baby’s system. Zinc controls iron uptake. Without it, abnormally high iron levels are allowed. Excess iron harms the liver. Zinc is also critical for growth and brain and nervous system development, as well as protein digestion. (Guyton, p 900). Neurological development retardation is exemplified today in the unprecedented rise of learning disabilities, attention deficit, Guillain Barre, and autism. (http://www.thedoctorwithin.com) Zinc is also necessary for normal insulin function and for immune system development. These are just some of the reason why no baby should be given refined soy as soy milk. Nor should an adult who doesn’t want zinc deficiency, which in the US runs as high as 60%. (Erasmus, p 75) Even the American Academy of Pediatrics admits that early exposure to soy through commercial infant formulas may be a leading cause of allergies among older children and adults. (Finucan) So if your baby has any allergies or asthma whatsoever, soy is the last thing you want to use as formula.

Difficulties in the chemistry encountered in attempting to remove the phytic acid is the main reason why the processing of soybeans is so harsh, as we will see. Enough phytic acid remains in the final soy products to cause mineral deficiencies. So, industry markets and sells soy that makes thousands sick. Industry also markets and sells the drugs to make you better. The industry employs thousands of lawyers and lobbyists and provides laterally billions to the political parties, both sides, to insure favorable legislation and press.

It wasn’t planned, it evolved

It wasn’t planned, it evolved. It works like this: Say you’re the president/CEO of a giant conglomerate and you want to maintain or better yet increase profits, but you have a problem. The product your company is marketing has been found to be effecting people abnormally. If word of this got out the company could lose millions. If the public finds out about it the law suits that would follow would would be disastrous. So what do you do about it? You have already invested millions into the product, if you stop selling it, not only will you lose the investment but somebody might look at 'why' you are dropping and by doing so de-facto admit there is something wrong with your product and of course there could be millions more in potential income. We have seen this many times in the past, particularly the tobacco companies and the drug companies are getting caught pulling something off the market because it is found to be causing harm somewhere. What if you had something so big it would make all other scandals insignificant by comparison and you and your company would be in demeaning litigation for the rest of your life, you may even be hated worse than Hitler. Obviously it is something you can’t ‘come clean’ on, it would be devastating, you must think of a better way to hide this problem. The best way to hide something is in plain sight, this has the benefit of giving credibility to the argument nothing was wrong with it or at least nothing you knew about. So, instead of potentially bringing this to the attention of the world as a bad thing, you say it is a good thing and you detach yourself and your product from the harmful effects and say ‘the effects’ were due to the individuals choice (remember ‘smoking; is a "choice" not a drug’). You make the public believe it wasn’t your product making them sick but something else. You make the problem unique to itself. Than, taking a cue from the tobacco industry, you start your own ‘support’ groups; under a different name of course; to ‘fight’ this growing problem. That way, you can determine the direction that the public takes on the problem. You have now diverted attention and are controlling public opinion. You now only need to keep up the facade and quickly quash any negative talk about it. So what am I talking about? It would be a good idea if you did a WEB search for “Hormone Disrupting Chemicals” & “HDC' and read some of the hundreds of articles by renowned specialists from around the world.. They tell about how extraordinarily small amounts of contaminant (ppb)can effect the development of a fetus, the most sensitive state a human being is ever in. Then, for another surprising example, search for, “Truth About Soy” (in quotes). Let me tell you, there has been a lot of suppression effort going on here. Monsanto, Dow Chemical,Dupont, Teitel , ADM, GM and many more don’t want you to read this. Then you put it together like this. Say a prenatal child is exposed to “something” (and we ‘all’ are, lets just say it comes from your product) that effects the way the child develops, what if it has been determined this changes the child’s sexuality. Wouldn’t it be interesting if it could make a person homosexual? A fetus is exposed, and they/we all are, to minute amounts of chemicals but it just happens that these particular chemicals mess with the sex of the fetus. It is a known fact that the sex organs are the most sensitive of all. Fact, we are all exposed more and more to contaminants as a fetus and fact; the sex organ are the most easily affected of all. Doesn’t it make sense then; that it is quite possible that contaminants can effect the sex of a fetus? I know the gay community won’t go for it, after all, they lobbied, LOBBIED for years to get it changed, to get homosexuality taken out of medical books as a medical problem, they are not going to want to fight that again. Since when do we change medical classifications because somebody simply didn’t want to be called ‘abnormal?’ Apparently, more often than you might think. So what am I trying to tell you? The food industry is feeding you tainted food, pharmaceuticals are selling you questionable drugs at super inflated prices (thousands of per cent mark-up), the chemical industry is polluting the air you breath, the water you drink and the ground you grow your food in and they are all backed up by the FDA and doctors who almost never blame the environment but instead prescribe you yet more drugs and all for what? Everybody is out there to make a buck and if their pollutant just happens to make you gay, well they say it is your ‘CHOICE.’ So then the ‘affected’, having been told they are not sick but rather discriminated against, organize and lobby their congressmen as a group and say they are seeking social justice. It is brilliant, absolutely the most ingenious deception ever pulled on the U.S. citizens.

Peer Pressure

Peer Pressure, It is funny just how close minded we can be. We use nature/science to our advantage in thousands of ways which, in fact, is the corner stone of our technology yet when it comes to behavior science, behavior problems, we try to ram our way of thinking like pushing butter up a straw with a hot needle.. We figured out that you can clean water of contaminants simply by letting it flow through plant roots; the way nature does it, wetlands they call it, (now we are undoing years of Corp of Engineers work to restore the ‘natural’) we amplify electronic signals by taking advantage of electron valance bonds in atoms and we release tremendous amounts of energy by breaking atoms apart or putting them together, this and millions of other things by simply taking advantage of the way things work, the way things are. But when it comes to human behavior problems particularly in our youth, it is like growing corn by pulling the plant from the seed with pliers, we try to force our will without taking advantage of a single natural characteristics. It is like we are afraid to ‘think’ because indeed that is what we are trying to correct. The reason or the excuse many parents give today for their children’s behavioral problems is ‘peer pressure.’ “He or she is a good kid; they just got in with a bad crowd.” Peer pressure. I say it again. It is true, peer pressure means a lot to all of us, it means we either get accepted or don’t. Go against the masses and you’re left out They call it "saving face" in China and you can get killed over it, wars can be started over it. Peer pressure, it’s real. Politicians must be careful not to 'embarrass the Chinese’ and the wise politician finds a way to make it work in his favor. So, just what is it we are doing with behavior problems, with regards to our children? We do everything in our power to be sure there is no ‘peer pressure’ applied when someone is doing something wrong. You can’t publish the names or pictures of minors or even say their name on the radio, you certainly can’t put a dunce cap on somebody and set them in the corner and now you can’t even publish the names of the people that are good because that means if your not on the list, your bad or under achieving. So when peer pressure has the most effect, it is against the law to use it. When a minor turns 18 their past is sealed, doesn’t count, cannot even be a factor in future court proceedings. Do you think they don’t know that? The delinquents are taking advantage of it, organized crime takes advantage of it, pedophiles & other davits take advantage of it, so why don’t we? We have tens of thousands of people that will tell you what will and won’t work, but they pretty much come from two areas of thinking. The first are the people that have been ‘trained’ in taking care of adolescent problems (and that’s working out well, isn’t it [sic]). They have been taught this is the way to fix things and now they are the court certified “experts” and there is just no changing their minds. Send just about anyone to school on a particular subject for 8 years and they will come back repeating what the learned. Then there are the parents. They have no training only their own and use their personal ‘gut’ feeling on how you should treat a behavior problem. They don’t want their child labeled something and have the child and/or the parent will be embarrassed PEER PRESSURE if the child has a criminal record. We should make peer pressure work for us and not against us for a change and I would be willing to wager that I’m right; it has always been the smart thing to do, it worked with everything else, I don’t know why this would be any different. The problem is some politician is afraid he won’t be elected when people find out it is his kid that has been doing the mischief in the neighborhood which is often the case. I say if you break the law plaster their name and picture all over the place. That makes peer pressure work for you. Most won’t do it twice.
