On Gays & Lesbians

On Gays & Lesbians Do you really think that being Gay is a personal choice? Do you think being hairlip or maybe born without an arm or leg is personal choice? Of course you don't. So what makes you
think the brain is never affected, the glands, the sex organs are never without a defect? Thirty years ago somebody told me there were over 400 substances stored in the fat cells of our bodies that didn't exist in 1950. I wonder how many there are now. I've been reading about the effects of combinations of low level wastes (we are talking parts per billion) that when combined; multiplied their toxicity effects on the body hundreds of times. The information is available for anyone to see by simply searching the WEB e.g. Hormone Disrupting Chemicals (HDC). To capsulize what was said, Hormones are the bodies' chemical messengers and they interact with something called receptors. With so many chemicals being added to our food and environment some of them can't help but make their way into our system. It turns out that many of these chemicals mimic some of our hormones and fool the receptors into thinking 'they' are the messenger and react accordingly. Now, I’ve been reading where everybody now has some of the chemical from ‘non-stick’ cooking "perfluorochemicals or PFOA" in there body as well as‘glyphosat’, the active ingredient in “RoundUp”. Roundup interferes with a fundamental protein called StAR (steroidogenic acute regulatory protein). The StAR protein is key to the production of testosterone in men (thus controlling male characteristics, including sperm production). Both chemicals are hormone “mimicking” chemicals everybody has at least some (HDC) in their systems and without question some are going to be more effected than others. By far the most susceptible are the unborn. Just imagine the problems that are caused to a just forming human being if some of the earliest hormones (messages) it gets, are imposters. It turns out that one of the things most effected is the sex organs. Duh Do you still think homosexuality it is personal choice? It is as much a personal choice as being autistic (is a choice). There is absolutely no way, whether you believe in creationism or natural selection, that the "gay" species would survive. Supporting the "gay" issue is simply taking the easy way out. You, the politician and industry do not want to address this issue for many reasons including and epically greed. A gay person has some kind of problem, end of story.>http://website.lineone.net/~mwarhurst/ http://www.epa.gov/scipoly/oscpendo/ http://www.tmc.tulane.edu/ecme/eehome/ http://womenshealth.about.com/health/womenshealth/library/weekly/aa061599.htm http://www.organicconsumers.org/Monsanto/roundup92502.cfm

ARROGANTLY CORRUPT

You’ve heard the expression, “hidden in plane sight” or “Can’t see the forest for the trees?” Political corruption in the US is just that, corruption at such a scale in plane sight we think that is just the way things work. We can’t see the forest because the trees are everywhere or in this case, we can’t identify corruption because virtually everything is corrupt and we have nothing to compare it to.

The Food Industry
If you have been listening on the news you have heard story after story about food recalls and people getting sick because of it. So what happens to the manufacture? They recall the tainted food. They can’t be sued, it is against the law, congress took care of that. Do you think if the food industry was looking at an unlawful lawsuit every time they killed somebody they would be more careful. You bet they would, but it is just not a big deal now. The recall might be expensive but it is nothing compared to what they would have to pay out in death benefits.
Another thought would be if we could sue TFI than we could sue China for the crap they have been selling here but I have the strong feeling there is something going on with our relations with China that is more on a corrupt personal level. For instance, why did China give Ronald Regan one million dollars after he ended his presidency? The communications satellite during the Clinton administration with our latest technology on it that China was going to launch and the launch failed.
Oct 11, 2007 It has been in the news about Banquet Pot Pies making people sick and a few deaths from salmonella poisoning yet CON-AGRA says they are not pulling the product. Why should they, it is only people and it would cost them money. They don’t have fear about being sued.

The Pharmaceutical Industry
If you thought the food industry has congress in their pockets, the Pharm has congress gutted, bagged, and packaged, Dems & Repubs alike. The food industry might have a billion or so for ‘lobbying’ and advertising expenses but the Pharm industry has tens of billions for ‘lobbing’ and advertising. With an advertising budget of over ten billion dollars, do you think the ‘media’ is going to do something to piss off the Pharm? Not on your life, literally. If you just watch, anything negative in the news about the Pharm is treated like today’s weather, a synapsis with lots of if’s and maybe’s and they might even try to sneak it by on the late night news. So, they reported it; you can’t say they didn’t and therefore the media can pat itself on the back as being ‘fair’ and ‘un-biased.’ In the meantime what the Pharm does that is bad or their ‘lobbying’ hijinks are about as under-reported as they can get. The Medicare part IV has to be the most obvious blatant law designed to “protect” one of the richest industries in the US.

The Sugar Industry
It was reported once, did you catch it? You probably don’t even remember it. The sugar industry is monopolized by a single family. No sugar comes in or out of the US without going through them. So what happened to free trade? TSI annually gives heavily to both parties. The result is the price of sugar in the US is almost twice what it should be.

Posted on 06/01/2002 4:25:00 PM PDT by FourPeas
Manufacturer says high cost of sugar in U.S. prompted exit
They moved to Canada because the price of sugar is that much cheaper up there.

The Asphalt IndustryYou would think that if you actually found a use for a waste product, particularly one that there was no other use for and was stacking up by the millions would be a win win situation but win win doesn’t translate to money in your congressmen’s pocket. It was found that putting ground up tires in asphalt it not only was a practical use for old tires it extended the life of the asphalt from 15 to 20%. Now that is a win win if I ever heard one, what could possibly be wrong with that? The Asphalt Industry felt it would be unduly penalized due to the loss of work/product. Now they don’t have a billion dollar lobbying budget but they got to somebody and the bill in congress to make this happen, died.

Almost everything you touch has the stain of political corruption and greed on it. Milk for instance. Reconstituted milk could sell for a fraction of fresh milk, but it is against the law to sell it for less than fresh milk. A loaf of bread has over 100 taxes on it, but you knew that; everybody knows that it is just the day to day la-ti-da of getting screwed by politicians.

October 11, 2007 Just today I listened to the media tell a hospital practice called “boarding” where of putting emergency room patients on a gurney and leaving them in halls etc. sometimes for days, due to lack of room for them. They sort-of mentioned by saying it was due to the un-insured once but never really addressed it. True the un-insured are swamping our emergency rooms but most of the uninsured are illegal aliens. Another example of reporting half the news, the half they don’t want to report, the half that goes against ‘their’ politics.
When it comes to reporting about something they are against or make themselves look good, the news is right there. Who reported the military was able to listen to Bin Laden’s Satellite phone calls? That’s right, the media. You couldn’t send Bin Laden a letter and expect him to get it but if you publish the secret in the media he will get it no matter where he is. Don’t believe me (some have denied this) how about every time we track a terrorist using their cell phone signal, that has been in the news many times. Do you think the terrorists don’t get the news? They would publish our strategy against the terrorists if they could get it. It is for ratings, it is for money, it is about nothing else.
Now this certainly sounds like a condemnation of the media which it is but the root of this problem is the illegal immigration problem and congresses reluctance to do anything about it. Twenty million people in the US without any insurance. Twenty Million who send the majority of their money back to Mexico (the leading income to the Mexican economy) that come up here with diseases, parasites, lesions and above all, pregnant, to fill our emergency rooms with their ills and our schools with illiterates that don’t speak or even try to speak the language.

I don’t know what to do.

I don’t know what to do. I’ve started this many times but it just seems so pointless. There are many blogs out there that have something to say and perhaps they feel as I do that ‘we’ need to be doing something, I know I do. I don’t know if this specific problem is addressed or not but for the few, if any that read this, here it is. It is but a fraction of what I know to be true and that is only a fraction of what is going on; reason enough to be concerned. Senator Bill Frist, M.D. slipped a bill through congress that stops any law suits against pharmaceutical companies. Like they really needed it. Ah! Where to begin? The pharmaceutical industry spent 3 billion dollars last year convincing Americans they are sick and need to buy their product and/or ask their doctor to prescribe it despite the fact that many do little or nothing and often they are just a slight reconfiguration of an older products sold at a new higher price. And it works. They have the doctors push their drugs with sweetheart deals and they (the pharmaceutical companies) have one of the largest lobbies in congress so be assured nothing is going against them there. As they spend heavily on advertisement you will never hear the media say anything bad about them or their products, and news items going against the pharmaceutical companies are treated with kid gloves. Then, the FDA, who is supposed to be the part of the government on our side is packed with people catering to the pharmaceuticals. Virtually every head of FDA has left for very high paying jobs in the drug industry. The FDA has their own courts in their own building so if you have a problem with a drug company it is like holding court in the enemy camp with the enemy as your judge and jurors. The government is in this so blatantly they have decided to hide their corruption in plain sight. e.g. The drug bill for the elderly has one of its main components stop people from going to Canada to get cheaper drugs. Hello! A drug manufactured in the US is cheaper to buy in Canada? You bet they are, and why? The drug companies make no attempt to hide the disparity in prices (hidden in plain sight), they argue that they need the “excess” profits to create new drugs. Is that right? They spend 3 billion dollars on advertisement and say they want the money for research? 3 billion dollars would have paid for a lot of research. It is politics, if they say it enough, you will believe it. They have the politicians, bought and paid for, now they are just helping them stay in power by keeping the focus on the drug companies and drumming into your head that they ‘deserve’ to screw people in the US. The drug industry has lobbied hard to get rid of all ‘natural’ substances that cure anything, they don’t make any money off of that. The FDA has issued what are essentially ‘laws’ that if it cures anything, the FDA has jurisdiction over it. Thus, if you print on a vitamin C bottle that it may help with the prevention of colds the FDA will demand millions of dollars of testing just to prove it. In the meantime they often exempt large manufacturers of any external testing taking instead whatever ‘they’ say they did to test the product internally. Well if it is some little guy trying to sell an inexpensive product that may help remedy something and he says so, it comes under the FDA and they make you prove that it will do whatever it is that it is supposed to do and in their eyes. You can bet you don’t have a chance. The little guy just doesn’t have a chance. I, personally, used to buy some herbs that helped with my allergies. There is no question, they helped. But it said “Allergy” on the bottle and the FDA made them quit marketing the product. It is not Just the Pharmaceutical Companies, not by a long shot. It was found that putting ground-up tires in asphalt not only substantially increased the life of the pavement, it was a use for the millions of old tires we have around the USA. A win win situation if you ask me. So what happened to that? The asphalt industry lobbied congress. They argued they would be losing so many jobs if we put out a better product. Since when do you lose money for putting out a better product? I'll bet you never heard that one on the media. Speaking of the media, that 3 billion dollars the pharmaceutical industry spends, is spent on the media. Do you really think the media is going to say something bad about a company that pays them 3 billion dollars a year? They (the media) don’t have a problem with telling Osama Bin Laden that we are listening in on his phone calls but do you think they will tell us the pharmaceutical industry is making us sick and bilking us out of millions? Not a chance. Did you know that you cannot start a farm growing peanuts and sell them in the US? Can't, it is the law. If you already are, you’re protected. Ex-president Jimmy Carter can sell his peanuts in the US, he’s protected. Why should you care? Because it is corruption, the price of peanuts is more than twice what it should be to the benefit of a few. A similar but much more complicated thing goes on with sugar. Importation of sugar into the US is restricted. Essentially only one group is allowed to.. That same group that gives lots and lots of money to both political parties every year. Yes, and the price of sugar in the US is almost twice what it should be. The candy manufacture of Life Savers moved to Canada and it wasn't because sugar cane grew better up there. The cost of sugar in the US drove them out. So, who is paying for the pharmaceutical profits, the asphalt industry, the sugar industry, the, the, the, the, the? Why you are, of course. And the reason is the fat cats we call politicians, the people we elect to protect us. The standard of living would be twice what it is now for every American if it weren’t for congress spending all of its time figuring out how to stay elected in the most lucrative of jobs in the world. They keep that job by Bull Shitting US citizens and they do that with the help of the media, big business and lots of money.

The Daily Corruption of Congress

Our nation started out with people trying to get out from under tyranny and oppression. The tyranny being the inequitable rule of monarchies where oppression of the many for the benefit of the few was the ‘norm.’ Most people like to get ahead, to make a better life for themselves and family. Many do this through hard work, intelligence, education, maybe by heritage, and a few do it by taking advantage of other people. It is this group whom I would to speak about. The farmer is an excellent example of how this started. As land was farmed, it was found that the nutrients in soil were not limitless, e.g. nitrogen, and various things were found to enrich the soil. Leaving it fallow alternate years, rotating crops, putting things back into the soil, e.g., compost etc. It was also found that certain plants usually leguminous actually helped the soil by fixing nitrogen back into the soil. Peanuts are a good example of this. However, you can only sell so many peanuts for eating. Than along came John Washington Carver who found more than one hundred uses for the peanut making it profitable as well as soil enhancing to grow. The important point here is the peanut was eatable in the first place and never required “cleansing” toxins out of it. But I want to talk about another nitrogen fixing leguminous plant of a more recent evolution. Soybeans are an excellent plant to fix nitrogen into the soil and much easier to grow and much more climate tolerant than peanuts. Farmers grew it for enriching the soil but its usefulness was very limited. It was not fit for animal feed and very little could be made from it, tofu and soy sauce but that is only after the efforts of some very energetic bacteria. It could also be made into linoleum, but even with that the market for Soy was limited. Now; many farms belong to multi billion dollar companies and they seemed to be stuck with a product they couldn’t do anything with. The solution, it turns out; was two fold, make it eatable and marketing; e.g., sell it as a health food. The problem with soybeans is it is full of contaminants, highest levels of phatic acid to be found, high amounts of enzyme inhibitors, can cause estrogen blood levels to raise as much as twenty two hundred per cent, is not a complete protein, not a natural food, is among the most processed of commercial foods and most US soybeans are genetically modified. The solution was to make it saleable. And sell they do. It turns out that hydrogenated soy oil is an excellent way to get rid of your garbage. The word "hydrogenation" refers to the process that changes liquid vegetable oils into more solid forms, forms that can be easily spread with a knife. In addition, the process of hydrogenation increases the shelf-life of the oil. Unfortunately, hydrogenating soy oil is like making a block buster bomb spread radioactively, it takes something already very bad and makes it much worse. Now listen to this, hydrogenated oil can be found in %60 of the food you eat. Hydrogenated oils are also found in products like breads, donuts, peanut butter, frozen meals, potato chips, and most fast foods. So wouldn’t you think this would be bad for you, make you sick, cause any number of maladies? It does. Here is the reason why. Who ‘benefits’ by you getting sick? The drug industry, many of the same ones that market the soy. They get money from you, hospitals and the government, to treat and find ‘cures’ for the explosion of the many new maladies that are affecting people. It is like you were on a leaking ship and everyone tried to find a way to get rid of the water but nobody looked for the leak. Hydrogenated Oil By Dr. Bruce Fife, a certified nutritionist and naturopathic physician Last month I told you about the dangers of artificial food additives. This month I want to talk about one of the most common food additives in our diet—partially hydrogenated vegetable oil. Some fats in our diet are good and healthy, others are not so good. Of all the fats in our diet, hydrogenated vegetable oils are one the very worst. The reason they’re so bad is because they contain toxic trans fatty acids. Trans fatty acids are fat molecules that have been chemically altered. These deformed fatty acids wreck havoc in our bodies. Recent research has shown that they contribute to cancer, heart disease, diabetes, MS, and many other health problems. They are far more dangerous than any other fat known. A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition it reported that trans fatty acids cause at least 30,000 premature deaths in the United States each year. Because of these dangers, many health organizations have pressured the FDA to enact a regulation requiring food manufactures to include the amount of trans fatty acids on package labels. Before taking this step, however, the FDA waited three years for the Institute of Medicine to study the issue. After a detailed review of all the medical research on trans fatty acids, the Institute of Medicine recently released their findings. They announced that no level of trans fat is safe to consume, (something contained within all hydrogenated oil)! This announcement came as a surprise because usually the Institute of Medicine recommends what they consider to be a safe limit of consumption for toxic food additives. In this case, however, they stated that no level is safe. That means we should avoid trans fatty acids completely. Where do you find trans fatty acids? Trans fatty acids are found in all hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, including margarine and shortening. Partially hydrogenated soybean oil is our most common source of trans fatty acids. Almost every packaged, convenience food in the grocery store contains one or more of these sources of trans fats. Some common food sources for trans fatty acids include bread, cookies, crackers, chips, pies, french fries, pizzas, peanut butter, cake frosting, candy, and ice cream. Read package labels, if it lists partially hydrogenated oil, don’t buy it! From “A Moment in Science” www.amos.indiana.edu The problem with hydrogenated oil is twofold. One, hydrogenated oil contains a lot of saturated fat. In addition though, it also contains what are called trans fatty acids. And the problem with these is that like saturated fat, they raise our levels of the bad cholesterol, but to make matters worse, they can also reduce our levels of the good cholesterol. So we are having drastic increases in incidences of Neoplasms (Cancer),Digestive System Diseases, Respiratory Tract Diseases, Nervous System Diseases, Male and Female Diseases, Pregnancy Complications and the list goes on. It may even include things like homosexuality, there are certainly lots of things pointing to that. The trick here is these big companies are also big contributors, just in case you were wondering why noting was ever done about it. E.g. Since 1987, the EPA and Congress both showed that they understood which side their bread was buttered on, in three separate acts: - In 1987, immediately prior to RoundUp’s debut, without any study or proof whatsoever, the EPA arbitrarily raised the toxicity limits of RoundUp from 6 parts per million to 20 parts per million, simply because Monsanto requested it! Do not get confused with products like Tofu, Miso and Soy Sauce. These are the end products of some very energetic bacteria and no longer resemble the original product. For industry to make soy eatable it is highly processed being heated to over 400? 6 times during processing. If there was any good in it, it is surely gone after processing. Don’t forget it has 10 times the aluminum in it homogenized milk does. Researchers have known for years that phytic acid blocks mineral absorption. (Keen) This is especially bad news for infants, because soy chelates all zinc from the baby’s system. Zinc controls iron uptake. Without it, abnormally high iron levels are allowed. Excess iron harms the liver. Zinc is also critical for growth and brain and nervous system development, as well as protein digestion. (Guyton, p 900). Neurological development retardation is exemplified today in the unprecedented rise of learning disabilities, attention deficit, Guillain Barre, and autism. (http://www.thedoctorwithin.com) Zinc is also necessary for normal insulin function and for immune system development. These are just some of the reason why no baby should be given refined soy as soy milk. Nor should an adult who doesn’t want zinc deficiency, which in the US runs as high as 60%. (Erasmus, p 75) Even the American Academy of Pediatrics admits that early exposure to soy through commercial infant formulas may be a leading cause of allergies among older children and adults. (Finucan) So if your baby has any allergies or asthma whatsoever, soy is the last thing you want to use as formula. Difficulties in the chemistry encountered in attempting to remove the phytic acid is the main reason why the processing of soybeans is so harsh, as we will see. Enough phytic acid remains in the final soy products to cause mineral deficiencies. So, industry markets and sells soy that makes thousands sick. Industry also markets and sells the drugs to make you better. The industry employs thousands of lawyers and lobbyists and provides laterally billions to the political parties, both sides, to insure favorable legislation and press.

It wasn’t planned, it evolved

It wasn’t planned, it evolved. It works like this: Say you’re the president/CEO of a giant conglomerate and you want to maintain or better yet increase profits, but you have a problem. The product your company is marketing has been found to be effecting people abnormally. If word of this got out the company could lose millions. If the public finds out about it the law suits that would follow would would be disastrous. So what do you do about it? You have already invested millions into the product, if you stop selling it, not only will you lose the investment but somebody might look at 'why' you are dropping and by doing so de-facto admit there is something wrong with your product and of course there could be millions more in potential income. We have seen this many times in the past, particularly the tobacco companies and the drug companies are getting caught pulling something off the market because it is found to be causing harm somewhere. What if you had something so big it would make all other scandals insignificant by comparison and you and your company would be in demeaning litigation for the rest of your life, you may even be hated worse than Hitler. Obviously it is something you can’t ‘come clean’ on, it would be devastating, you must think of a better way to hide this problem. The best way to hide something is in plain sight, this has the benefit of giving credibility to the argument nothing was wrong with it or at least nothing you knew about. So, instead of potentially bringing this to the attention of the world as a bad thing, you say it is a good thing and you detach yourself and your product from the harmful effects and say ‘the effects’ were due to the individuals choice (remember ‘smoking; is a "choice" not a drug’). You make the public believe it wasn’t your product making them sick but something else. You make the problem unique to itself. Than, taking a cue from the tobacco industry, you start your own ‘support’ groups; under a different name of course; to ‘fight’ this growing problem. That way, you can determine the direction that the public takes on the problem. You have now diverted attention and are controlling public opinion. You now only need to keep up the facade and quickly quash any negative talk about it. So what am I talking about? It would be a good idea if you did a WEB search for “Hormone Disrupting Chemicals” & “HDC' and read some of the hundreds of articles by renowned specialists from around the world.. They tell about how extraordinarily small amounts of contaminant (ppb)can effect the development of a fetus, the most sensitive state a human being is ever in. Then, for another surprising example, search for, “Truth About Soy” (in quotes). Let me tell you, there has been a lot of suppression effort going on here. Monsanto, Dow Chemical,Dupont, Teitel , ADM, GM and many more don’t want you to read this. Then you put it together like this. Say a prenatal child is exposed to “something” (and we ‘all’ are, lets just say it comes from your product) that effects the way the child develops, what if it has been determined this changes the child’s sexuality. Wouldn’t it be interesting if it could make a person homosexual? A fetus is exposed, and they/we all are, to minute amounts of chemicals but it just happens that these particular chemicals mess with the sex of the fetus. It is a known fact that the sex organs are the most sensitive of all. Fact, we are all exposed more and more to contaminants as a fetus and fact; the sex organ are the most easily affected of all. Doesn’t it make sense then; that it is quite possible that contaminants can effect the sex of a fetus? I know the gay community won’t go for it, after all, they lobbied, LOBBIED for years to get it changed, to get homosexuality taken out of medical books as a medical problem, they are not going to want to fight that again. Since when do we change medical classifications because somebody simply didn’t want to be called ‘abnormal?’ Apparently, more often than you might think. So what am I trying to tell you? The food industry is feeding you tainted food, pharmaceuticals are selling you questionable drugs at super inflated prices (thousands of per cent mark-up), the chemical industry is polluting the air you breath, the water you drink and the ground you grow your food in and they are all backed up by the FDA and doctors who almost never blame the environment but instead prescribe you yet more drugs and all for what? Everybody is out there to make a buck and if their pollutant just happens to make you gay, well they say it is your ‘CHOICE.’ So then the ‘affected’, having been told they are not sick but rather discriminated against, organize and lobby their congressmen as a group and say they are seeking social justice. It is brilliant, absolutely the most ingenious deception ever pulled on the U.S. citizens.

Peer Pressure

It is funny just how close minded we can be. We use nature/science to our advantage in thousands of ways which, in fact, is the corner stone of our technology yet when it comes to behavior science, behavior problems, we try to ram our way of thinking like pushing butter up a straw with a hot needle..

We figured out that you can clean water of contaminants simply by letting it flow through plant roots; the way nature does it, wetlands they call it, (now we are undoing years of Corp of Engineers work to restore the ‘natural’) we amplify electronic signals by taking advantage of electron valance bonds in atoms and we release tremendous amounts of energy by breaking atoms apart or putting them together, this and millions of other things by simply taking advantage of the way things work, the way things are. But when it comes to human behavior problems particularly in our youth, it is like growing corn by pulling the plant from the seed with plyers, we try to force our will without taking advantage of a single natural characteristics. It is like we are afraid to ‘think’ because indeed that is what we are trying to correct.

The reason or the excuse many parents give today for their children’s behavioral problems is ‘peer pressure.’ “He or she is a good kid; they just got in with a bad crowd.” Peer pressure. I say it again. It is true, peer pressure means a lot to all of us, it means we either get accepted or don’t. Go against the masses and you’re left out They call it "saving face" in China and you can get killed over it, wars can be started over it. Peer pressure, it’s real. Politicians must be careful not to 'embarrass the Chinese’ and the wise politician finds a way to make it work in his favor.

So, just what is it we are doing with behavior problems, with regards to our children? We do everything in our power to be sure there is no ‘peer pressure’ applied when someone is doing something wrong. You can’t publish the names or pictures of minors or even say their name on the radio, you certainly can’t put a dunce cap on somebody and set them in the corner and now you can’t even publish the names of the people that are good because that means if your not on the list, your bad or under achieving. So when peer pressure has the most effect, it is against the law to use it. When a minor turns 18 their past is sealed, doesn’t count, cannot even be a factor in future court proceedings. Do you think they don’t know that? The delinquents are taking advantage of it, organized crime takes advantage of it, pedophiles & other davits take advantage of it, so why don’t we?

We have tens of thousands of people that will tell you what will and won’t work, but they pretty much come from two areas of thinking. The first are the people that have been ‘trained’ in taking care of adolescent problems (and that’s working out well, isn’t it [sic]). They have been taught this is the way to fix things and now they are the court certified “experts” and there is just no changing their minds. Send just about anyone to school on a particular subject for 8 years and they will come back repeating what the learned. Then there are the parents. They have no training only their own and use their personal ‘gut’ feeling on how you should treat a behavior problem. They don’t want their child labeled something and have the child and/or the parent will be embarrassed (PEER PRESSURE) if the child has a criminal record. We should make peer pressure work for us and not against us for a change and I would be willing to wager that I’m right; it has always been the smart thing to do, it worked with everything else, I don’t know why this would be any different. The problem is some politician is afraid he won’t be elected when people find out it is his kid that has been doing the mischief in the neighborhood which is often the case. I say if you break the law plaster their name and picture all over the place. That makes peer pressure work for you. Most won’t do it twice.

Letter to your/my congressmen

I see the UN is wanting the US to take in more 'refugees' from Iraq. 7000. Refugees? If they won't fight for their country, why are we? This is ludicrous. Maybe if they had to stay there they could fix their own country, it is 'their' country isn't it, and this one ours? We don't 'owe' them a thing, in fact; they owe us. The whole world cannot immigrate to the US and that goes for all the Mexicans too. Why don't you people get off your pompous behind(s) and tell the Iraqi's to go fix their own country, I watched the news tonight, the Iraqi's were saying the violence was our fault, they don't want us there. Well than, lets get to hell out, and leave the 7000 to fix their own country. You think!!! Did you see this? It pretty sums it up about the Moslems. Their religion says to not like anybody else. "There are countless verses and traditions, in fact, that make it clear that Muslims are to be in a constant state of animosity toward non-Muslims,  " http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=NTUyMjYzZDlkMDhlYzEwYzkwYzc3YTQ2OWQxMjJhMTE= I saw the pictures of the arab "immigrants" in London saying how they are going to take over and "infidels" are going to die. Is that what you want over here? They get hired by Target but they won't scan pork products because it is against their religion? A muslim taxi cab driver can refuse someone because they are carrying a bottle of wine? or with a seeing-eye-dog? So coming here illegal is the Mexicans religion? The Mexicans are literally saying California belongs to Mexico and they are going to take it over through (illegal) immigration, just when are you going to get in touch with reality? Attach a pay raise to it if you have to, but get it passed. Thank You

Bill Gates & the downfall of the US

I read a speech made to a high school credited to Bill Gates: "Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!" It is so easy to espouse such edicts, dictators and tyrants have told their ‘subjects’ much the same thing for years. It is no coincidence that the guy on the other end, some 95% of the people that do the actual work have never said, "yeah, my life is tough but I'll get used to it." I don't begrudge the man because he had some good luck and the foresight to follow up on a great situation. But think about this. Not only did he take advantage a situation, he did (and does) everything in his power to Monopolize the market and he does so to this very day. Bill Clinton had the federal government pressing a anti-trust case against Gates and Microsoft for being a Monopoly and the case had gone far enough for them to admit they did have special code in their operating systems to favor 'their' products. Microsoft/Gates made a donation to the Republicans and when the Bush administration came along they called off the law suit. Coincidence you think? Now, since the admission of wrong doing was done in court under some sort of legal status when the suit was called off, the admission is not valid in any other legal procedings, hence Bill Gates is getting away with monopolizing the computer industry. So when you; 'got it all,' it is real easy to be smug and say, "life isn't fair." The richest man in the world shouldn't be saying "life isn't fair," a person such as Gates shouldn't be telling someone less fortunate life is tuff and it is too bad he doesn't have enough money to eat. The list of things that Microsoft does that are anti-competative in just this one program is to long to list here, and that is not the point of this message. He is and they are, is all you need to know. In the late 1800's the United States government took the Dupont corporation to court for having a monopoly of the explosives market, Dupont had over 70% of the market. Dupont was forced to diverse almost half of it's explosives holdings to settle the dispute. In the 1960's the government sued Xerox for having a monopoly of the copier market, roughly 80%, and it too, was forced to open its copy technology to the world. In the 70's AT&T having approximately 90% of the communications market, was forced to release its grip on the communications marmket. Microsoft has over 95% of the internet market yet when the Bush administration came in to office, the suit against Microsoft was called off despite their admission of guilt. Atta-boy, their Bush! Gates has made over 50 billion dollars and has essentially given peanuts back. e.g. for every $100 he has made, he has given back pennies and by far the majority of the money he has given back, has gone to other countries. Yeah, he is a real generous SOB. What he has spent it on has been "feel good, look good" stuff in my opinion. What you and I do to help our fellow man is just that, we give to charity, and/or help someone out of a tuff spot, if we can. Bill Gates does pretty much the same thing but here is the difference. You or I might give one or two or five or ten percent of our income to help someone or at least try to help others out. Gates gives onehundredmillion to somebody and that sounds like a lot of money but it is 0.002% of fifty Billion. Besides, once you have a billion dollars, just how much more do you need, and Gates is trying hard to increase his wealth. It is giving what you are able rather than the quanity that matters. Gates is in a position to make some fundemental changes in the world, changes that would help all humanity for all time. Instead, Gates is doing the same thing I do except on scale one hundred times no a thousand times less, relative to income, relative to ability. Feeding the hungry is great, but they will be hungry tomorrow still, nothing gets fixed. You can even find a cure for a disease but there will still be another one. Do you see what I'm getting at? Bill Gates isn't fixing anything, he is still doing little things. He is working on his image, sprinklings a few hundred million bucks around to look good and feel good about himself. Bill Gates could literally give away a million dollars easier than I could a dollar. A person in his position should take on a problem relative to his ability and forget the eye-wash shit. I believe history will show that Bill Gates what he really is, a really greedy little man. I know a little bit about computers but I have been unable to turn off the "Windows Update" function on my computer. I have tried to "not" turn it on, but failed. Microsoft gets away with it because It seems a normal thing to do, keep the latest and greatest for "free," except of course, it is not ‘free,' you paid for it. Bill Gates wants to know if you have paid him 'his' due, every time you log into the internet. So what is the big deal? I'm not a computer geek but even I found a "log" of WEB sites I had visited in the windows software and I'm not talking about the log associated with the browser. There is only one explanation for such a log. It gets accessed and downloaded. Windows update? Do a little searching on the WEB and you will find where lots of other people have found many such files & "spy ware" so to speak, lurking in the Windows software. Be careful though, Microsoft is aware of it. They will be notified next time you log on to the WEB. I recently changed ISP's due for good reason only to learn after I had committed myself that I was actually signing up on the MSN network. Well, it would have been real messy to back out & probably cost me so I stayed with it. Try this link; "http://www.vanwensveen.nl/rants/microsoft/IhateMS.html." In it is a pretty good discussion of what is wrong with one person monopolizing the internet with links to further discussions. On the 5th of February we got DSL through Quest which I didn’t realize at the time was a clone for Microsoft. I was supplied with a CD containing MSN Premium as part of the installation. MSN certainly wasn’t my choice but I let it go at the time. I used it about 3 weeks. If you don’t know what MSN Premium is, I’ll tell you. Everything is loaded at once and focused on promoting Microsoft. It takes awhile to load, maybe 5 minutes. I’m running a computer at 3 Ghz and it takes 5 minutes to load my mail? Well, like I said, I tried it for a while and everything I did took me to or through something Microsoft and the computer was always loading and unloading files making everything ran slow. I got tired of that and I really resent Microsoft trying to assert itself on everything. I never used IE as I couldn’t find it, some other, Windows Live,” thing always seemed to come up I didn’t like it at all. I still used Firefox. But mail, I am stuck with, because Microsoft uses a HTTP interface rather than a POP and only Microsoft mail is configurable to work with that.. So last week I got really fed up with all this crap and “un-installed” MS-Premium. Than I had to reinstall Outlook Express (a very dumbded down version of Outlook but you have to pay to get the full blown thing. Thunderbird (Mozilla) is free and works even better but unfortunately does not have a HTTP interface) for my mail. Than I find out doing things on the WEB are not the same anymore, things have changed. Besides the fact that my computer is still running at a crawl I can no longer access things that used to work well before (even before MSN Premium which added nothing in this respect). So now I’m really pissed. This morning after getting my mail, I did a ‘System Restore’ to before I had MSN. It took quite some time but hopefully it completely rid my computer of MSN Premium. Unfortunately it also got rid of virus & firewall protection that was part of my package and what I had before I agreed to go with MSN was deleted in preparation. Now I didn’t even have a connection to the internet. I’m sitting here looking at the router and the lights are indicating; ‘I’m not here.’ Well, I’m sure I’m here, I just need to know how to get there. I called the Qwest help line which switches me over to the MSN help line which is in the Philippines. I explained what I was doing and what needed to happen and I always get. “ sure, we can do that.” I’ve worked with MSN Philipino ‘help’ before and after some floundering around finally struck out on my own to restore the connection. Well, I’m back connected to the internet and MS Premium seems to be gone. I went on the help line and after much searching I found I might be able to restore my virus and firewall protection but (MSN) wants my primary e-mail password and we seem to have a disagreement on to exactly what that is. There seems to be a lot of other issues yet to be resolved as the restore put me back a month in time and I’ve had to do things like download my browser again (Firefox, much superior to IE, some 14% of computers now use Firefox IE has actually shown a 10% loss) and I’m sure there are more. Also missing are: Quicken files Shockwave files TSR files for Word Perfect Quicken (data) files gone a second time 3-3-07 In conclusion, I would advise anyone against anything to do with Microsoft when ever possible, I would not recommend their network and I would strongly advise against ever load MS Premium service. Microsoft lies. I'm having no end to trouble with my e-mail. When we got DSL MSN Premium was loaded, I didn't have a choice. They have tried to do everything so there is no reason to load anything else i.e. anything that was not MSN. Well, it slowed my 3 GHz computer down to a crawl. So I un-installed it. That is supposed to be a simple and painless deal, right? Wrong!!! I already told you MSN deleted my Quicken (it competes with Microsofts 'Money'), it deleted all my running files for Word Perfect, it deleted several of the accessory files like shockwave for viewing graphics in e-mail and I'm still finding things it screwed up. So when I deleted MSN P it also deleted the virus and firewall program that was part of the deal I was supposed to be getting with my sign-up. I had to delete what I had before loading MSN so their would be no conflict, now I have nothing. Right now I'm having trouble getting my password reset for my primary e-mail account which I need to go in and access my account. I have been round and round with these people, they never intend for you to speak to anybody. I clicked on "reset the password" and they said they would send a new password via e-mail.. I don't have the password so how can I get the mail? Down below there is another window that says, "how can I get my password if I can't log onto the account?" I clicked on that and it took me to their general help file where it says "Reset Password" in one place and around and around we go. If I call MSN help, I get a philippino that really don't know what I'm talking about. If I don't ask a question they haven't been specifically quizzed on, they can't answer it. Never, Never have anything to do with MSN if at all possible.
